Farmers Market:

Beijing Organic Farmers Market (Country Fair): The first Country Fair took place in September of 2010.  Since then, the Beijing Farmers' Market has been providing an opportunity for producers and consumers to interact in direct exchange. Consumers can obtain fresh, local food with a transparent history and farmers can obtain a fair price for their high-quality products.  More importantly, personal interactions at the point of sale transform the market into a mechanism for reinforcing common notions of community and about what constitutes ‘good’ food, in every sense of the word.  Find out more on the Beijing Farmers' Market Facebook page (www.facebook.com/farmersmarketbj) or by emailing farmersmarketbj@gmail.com.

Local Farms:

There are many local farms in Beijing that provide organic and pesticide-free foods.  For a map on some of these farms, please click here.  Alternatively, there is more detailed information available on the Reference Information page of this website.

Food Delivery Services/Online Delivery:
Many local farms deliver food.  In addition, there are some specialized food delivery services.
